The open-loop wire design has the strength to maneuver large swaths of dough and the finesse to mix, feed and refresh your sourdough starter. It's also surprisingly handy when whipping around anything tacky, glutinous or gummy, like batters or homemade mashed potatoes
To ensure years and years of use, frequently apply food-grade mineral oil and/or conditioner to the handle.
